Each team must include:
- 1 Offensive Player
- 1 Defensive Player
- 1 Special Teams Player
Each Player can only be used once per team. (no stacking your team by picking Nanette for all positions.) In the event of a tie, the earliest submission wins.
Official Rules & How to Play
1. Build Your Starting Lineup
Draft 3 players from the pool of 11 available athletes:
- 1 Offensive Player (score × 3)
- 1 Defensive Player (score × 2)
- 1 Special Teams Player (score × 1)
This is your team for the entire event — no trades, no waivers, no Grinchy steals.
2. Submit Your Picks
All teams must be submitted by December 24th.
Your submission should include:
- Your Name
- Your Team Name
- Your 3 drafted players (Offense / Defense / Special Teams)
Tiebreaker Reminder:
If two teams finish with the same score, the team submitted earlier wins.
Early elves get the presents.
3. How the Game Works
On Christmas Eve, the “game” will be simulated using dice rolls:
- All 11 draftable players will participate.
- Each player will roll the dice three times.
- Their three rolls are added together to create the player’s final score.
Example: 5 + 2 + 3 = 10 points
Think of it as Christmas magic… mixed with pure randomness.
4. Scoring Your Team
Your total team score uses this formula:
(Offense × 3) + (Defense × 2) + (Special Teams × 1)
Example team:
- Offense: 11 → 11×3 = 33
- Defense: 6 → 6×2 = 12
- Special Teams: 8 → 8×1 = 8
Final Score = 33 + 12 + 8 = 53
5. How to Win
The team with the highest score is crowned the

If there’s a tie?
Whichever lineup was submitted first gets the W — and the prize sitting under the tree.
